7.6.1 Pickup Roller

7.6.1.1 Removing the Cassette
Pickup Roller
1) Remove the copyboard cover. (If the machine has
the ADF, the ADF need not be removed.)
2) Remove the cassette.
3) Place the machine so that its pickup side is at the
bottom.
4) Remove the 8 screws [1], and detach the bottom
plate [2].

5) Remove the spring [1], and detach the cassette
pickup roller unit [2].

6) Free the hook [1], and detach the cassette pickup
roller [2].
