7. Depress carrier belt tensioner (B).
8. Remove carrier belt from motor pulley (C).
9. Remove two retainer clips (D) from the carrier shaft.

10. Remove shaft.
11. Lift and remove carrier.
Note: Position of encoder strip.

Fax card removal

1. Remove scanner lid.
2. Remove scanner assembly.
3. Remove print engine.
4. Remove exit tray.
