POSSIBLE CAUSE(S)
No power is being
supplied to the
scanner
No power is being
supplied to the
scanner from host
Non-volatile RAM
failure
RAM or ROM failure
VLD failure
Scanner motor failure
Same symbol timeout
set too short
SOLUTION
Check transformer, outlet and
power strip. Make sure the
cable is plugged into the
scanner
Some host systems cannot
supply enough current to power
Orbit. Use the power supply
included with the scanner.
Contact a Metrologic
Representative, if the unit will
not hold the programmed
configuration
