22.4.2 Web Proxy Forwarding
When this feature is enabled, the Peplink Balance will intercept all outgoing connections
destined for the proxy server specified in Web Proxy Server Interception Settings.
Then it will choose a WAN connection accordingto theoutbound policyand forward the
connectionto the specified web proxy server and port number. Redirected server
settings for each WAN can be set here. If forwarding is disabled for a WAN, then web
proxy connections for thatWAN will simply be forwarded to the connection's original
destination.
22.4.3 DNS Forwarding
When DNS forwarding is enabled, all clients' outgoing DNS requests will also be
intercepted and forwarded to the built-in DNS proxy server.

22.5 Service Passthrough

Service passthrough settings can be found atNetwork>Misc. Settings>Service
Passthrough.
