Disassembly
7.
Release the 3 clips on the front of the control panel,
unroute the wiring harness through the frame, and
remove the control panel (OPE).

8. Remove 4 screws securing the scan upper.

Unclip the scan upper from the scan assembly by
releasing 2 clips on each side, then pull the scan
upper straight up to remove.

Remove the CCD cable as shown.
11.
Pull up on the CCD shaft to remove it from the
scanner.
12.
Squeeze the spring to release the tension on the belt
and lift the belt from the pulley. The belt should
still be attached to the scan module.
