Heat sink assembly

Description
Heat sink for use only on computer models equipped with AMD processors and UMA graphics 19 W
Heat sink for use only on computer models equipped with AMD processors and AMD UMA graphics 25 W
Heat sink for use only on computer models equipped with AMD processors and switchable discrete
graphics 25 W
Before removing the heat sink assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the heat sink assembly:
1.
Turn the system board upside down, with the front toward you.
NOTE:
steps 5 through 7 for heat sink assembly removal information for computer models equipped with UMA
graphics.
2.
Remove the four Phillips M2.5x4.0 screws (1) and the three Phillips PM2.5x4.0 screws (2) that secure
the heat sink assembly to the system board.
