Playback of TAPE

If you load a tape in the cassette deck in advance while the power is off, pressing the TAPE 2 3 key will
turns the power on automatically and starts the tape playback.

1. Load a cassette tape.

Press the area marked ) push open to open the cassette holder.

Insert a tape.

Press the area marked ) push open to close the cassette holder.
Do not use a cassette with more than 90-minute recording time, for the
tape used with such a cassette is very thin and tends to cause troubles
such as entanglement around the pinch roller or cutting off tape.
÷ The tape deck of the unit can play Normal (Type ) tapes.
÷ When there is a tape slack, wind the tape before loading.
2. Start playback.
Press the TAPE 2 3 key.
Displayed when the deck is loaded with a tape.

Indicates the tape transport direction during playback or recording by lighting
of 2 or 3. This direction is the direction stored in memory when the tape was
last stopped.
