Bar Code Reading

To read bar codes:
Ensure that the SB1 is loaded with a scanning application.

Aim the exit window at the bar code.

Press the Scan button. Ensure the red illumination covers the entire bar code. The LED Indicator

illuminates red to indicate that the illumination is on. The LED Indicator turns green and a beep sounds to
indicate a successful decode.
NOTE Scanning procedures depend on the application. An application may use different scanning procedures
from the one listed above.
