(18) GYRO Circuit Board, Lens Frame, Sensor Block, Lens Unit, Cushion and Crystal Filter

Information:
The sensor block comprises the 5MCMOS circuit board assembly on which the sensor is mounted.
1) Disconnect the fl at cable.
2) Remove the screw [C].
3) Remove the GYRO circuit board (a) in the direction of the arrow.
4) Remove the graphite sheet [A] (b).
5) Remove the graphite sheet [B] (c).
6) Remove the two screws [B] and then remove the lens frame (d).
7) Remove the two screws [F] and then remove the ground sheet (e) and the Sensor block (f) from the
lens unit (g).
8) Remove the cushion (h) and the crystal fi lter (i) from the lens unit.
Cautions during disassembly and reassembly:
1) The graphite sheets (A) and (B) cannot be reused: Purchase new ones for reassembly.
2) Be sure to paste the heat sink rubber to the specifi ed position of lens unit: Forgetting to do so
could cause a fault.
3) The crystal fi lter has an orientation specifi ed: Take great care when attaching it.
Note:
1) The lens unit and crystal fi lter are precision components: Take great care when handling them.
Adherence of any dust, foreign object, fi ngerprint, etc. to them, or any scratches or impact, could
cause a fault.
2) Never use metal tweezers to handle the crystal fi lter: Doing so could damage it.
