REMOVING THE FRONT SLIDE BLOCKS & REAR SEAL
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Pull the dryer away from the wall so that
you can access the rear of the unit.
3. Remove the drum and belt from the dryer
(see pages 4-6 and 4-7 for the procedure).
Front Slide Blocks
4. To remove the two front slide blocks, lift
the front locking tab on each of the blocks,
and pull them out of the housing.

5. To remove the rear seal:
a) Loosen the spring clamp band screw
and remove the band from the drum
seal.
b) Pull the rear seal off the rear panel
flange.
