Options while on calls

Chain dialing

Use this feature to initiate a dialing sequence from the numbers in the
directory, caller ID history or redial memory while you are on a call.
To access the directory or caller ID log while on a call:
Press MENU/
1.
Press q or p
2.
CID
/SELECT.
MENU
Press q or p
3.
CID
/SELECT to dial the number shown.
4. Press
MENU
To access the redial list while on a call:
Press REDIAL/
1.
Press q or p
2.
CID
repeatedly to show the last 10 recently dialed numbers. Press
to dial the number shown.

Blind transfer

While on an outside call, you can transfer it
handset.
To transfer an outside call directly without notifying the desired handset:
1. During the call, press MENU/
2. Press /SELECT to choose >Transfer.

• If you have a 2-handset system, the outside call is put on hold and your
handset screen shows Transferring call... The other handset rings and
its screen shows Transfer from other handset.
• If you have more than 2 handsets, your screen shows TRANSFER TO:

CID
/SELECT.

shows Transferring call... or Transferring call to all...
3. To answer the call on the destination handset, press
/SPEA�ER SPEA�ER. The original handset shows Call transferred and goes to
idle mode.

to scroll to the desired number.
