3.2.1 Installing the Web-Based Management Interface
Viewing the Web-Based Management
Interface
The web-based configuration interface is viewable on any of
the modern browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer
(IE) 7, Firefox 3.6, Google Chrome 10, Safari 5 and Opera
11, but the full configuration feature set is only supported on
Microsoft IE.
Make sure the network camera is powered on to ensure it is
detected by the management interface. Refer to Front View
(page 1-2) for further details.
To view the web-based management interface, do the fol-
lowing:

To get the IP address of a specific network
camera, refer to Obtaining Network Camera
Connection Information (page 2-19).
1. Launch a supported browser.
2. Enter the IP address of a network camera in the web
browser URL bar.
3. Press the Enter key to view management interface.
