Virtual Extension Access Mode
This program assigns what happens when the
user presses the virtual extension key that is
programmed on a Multiline Terminal.
If the setting data is a (0), DSS, when the user
presses the key the virtual extension is called
and will flash and/or ring on any phones that
have this virtual assigned.
If the setting data is a (1), Outgoing, when the
user presses the key the virtual extension pro-
vides dial tone and calls can be made from the
virtual extension. When one user selects the
virtual extension it is now busy and other users
cannot select the same virtual extension. In-
bound calls to the virtual would follow any busy
routing conditions.
If the setting data is a (2), Ignore, when the
user presses the key nothing happens. The vir-
tual is only used for inbound calls in this mode.
