BELT AND AGITATOR CHANGING
_WARNING
Always unplug power cord from
electrical outlet before performing any
service on vacuum cleaner.
1. Turn off and unplug vacuum cleaner.
'2. With vacuum cleaner upside down,
remove four (4) screws.
3. Remove nozzle _ I
cover by placing
vacuum in upright /,,_
position. Grasp rear //2'
of cover and //_
rotate forward. /-X / ( f_
Pull up to ( _k_xL_,k-,
release _ _b

4. Remove agitator by carefully lifting
out.
5. Remove and replace worn or broken
belt. (Refer to
Rep ocement Ports
o°.o0°,./
6. Loop new b
around motor
shaft and
agitator belt
groove.
7. Reinstall __
agitator back
into nozzle by
pulling toward
front of
nozzle and
sliding into
grooves.
8. After reinstalling agitator, turn it by
hand to make sure that belt is not twisted
or pinched and that all rotating parts turn
freely.
9. Replace cover t
by sliding 3 tabs _t
into place and ,_'_:
rotating closed. /___
