I DUST CUP CLEANING
TO DISASSENtBLE DUST CUP TO ASSEMBLE D USTCUP
Remove dust cup from vacuum cleaner
(See DUST CUP EMPTYING) and empty
contents,,
I_ Rotate upper dust
cup to unlock_ then
lift off,
34 Press the lid
release button
downward and
twist lid to remove
from dust cup°
2, Remove pre_ftlter by
pulling downward as shown°
See PRE-FILTER CLEANING
4. Rotate fastener ring
to unlock, and lift off,
5_ Remove upper
portion of dust cup
from air guide_
6_ Rinse with cold
water only, DO NOT
use detergent or soap,
Allow parts to dry 2,4
hours before pulting
back into vacuum
cleaner.
DO NOT wash in the
dishwasher.
DO NOT install parts
damp°

1o Reinstall upper
portion of dust cup
onto air guide so
that the locking
screws pass
through the
holes in the
upper portion
2_ Using alignment marks
on the fastener ring and
dust cup, place fastener
ring onto dust cup and
rotate to tack in place°
3o Place the dust cup
lid on the upper
portion of the dust cup
using alignlment slots,
and rotate until the lid
locks in place°
should be heard_
4. Reinstall pre-ftlter
by using the
alignment ribs on the
pre-fitter to align with
the ribs on the upper
portion of the dust
cup°
5,_ Press into place=, A
noticeable "click"
6. Reinstall lower
ortion of the dust cup
y aligning ribs on the
upper portion with the
UNLOCK ribs on the
lower portion,
Z Rotate until ribs
from the upper portion of the dust cup
align with the LOCi< ribs,
NOTE: If lower portion of dust cup does
not fit properly check pre-filter
installation in step 4,
