Auto Channel Selection
When installing hp wireless PC card WL110s the channel
configuration is managed as follows:
For wireless clients that operate in an 11 Mbps Wireless
LAN Infrastructure, the hp wireless PC card WL110 will
automatically start operation at the channel identified by
the access points. When roaming between different
access points the station can dynamically switch to
another channel if required.
For hp wireless PC card WL110s installed into wireless
clients that operate in an "Peer-to-Peer" mode, the hp
wireless PC card WL110 will default use channel 10.
When inserted into the WL510 Access Point, the hp
wireless PC card WL110 will use the factory-set default
channel (printed in bold), unless the LAN Administrator
selected a different channel when configuring the access
point device.
