Filter Effects

Choose from the following color filter effects. After adjusting filter
effects as described below, press J to copy the photograph.
Option
Skylight
Warm filter

Color Balance

Use the multi selector to create a copy with
modified color balance as shown below. The
effect is displayed in the monitor together
with red, green, and blue histograms (pg.
223) giving the distribution of tones in the
copy. Press J to copy the photograph.

Creating JPEG Copies of NEF (RAW) Pictures

To create a JPEG copy of an NEF (RAW) picture, select the NEF (RAW)
picture for Color balance and press J without modifying color balance.
The JPEG copy will have an image quality of "fine" and a size of L.

filter, making the picture less
blue. The effect can be
previewed in the monitor as
shown at right.
Creates a copy with warm tone filter effects, giving the
copy a "warm" red cast. The effect can be previewed in
the monitor.
