Detecting Bad Sectors

Bad hard disk drive sectors can cause the system to slow down when reading or writing data.
This section describes how to detect and repair bad sectors.
To detect a bad sector:

Go to Menu > HDD > HDD Detect > Bad Sector Detection.
Select the HDD you want to scan from the HDD No. drop-down list, and then click Detect.
You can pause, resume, or cancel the detection process at any time.
When the detection process has completed, click Error info to view any error information.
