REMOVING THE PRIMARY, SECONDARY,
& MONITOR INTERLOCK SWITCHES
AND THE AIR PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all panels before operating.
Failure to do so could result in death or
electrical shock.
CAUTION: When you work on the microwave
oven, be careful when handling the sheet metal
parts. Sharp edges may be present, and you
can cut yourself if you are not careful.
1.
Disconnect the electrical power to the
microwave oven.
2.
To remove the secondary interlock
switch:
a) Remove the microwave oven from the
oven cabinet (see pages 2-8 & 2-9 for
the procedure).
b) Remove the six screws from the left
side panel and remove the panel.

c) Remove the wires from the switch ter-
minals.

Secondary
Switch
Wht Wire
(Com)
Blu Wire
(N.O.)
d) Unclip the switch from the air pressure
relief valve. NOTE: Be careful when
removing the switch. The clips are very
fragile and break easily.
3.
To remove the air pressure relief valve:
a) Remove the secondary interlock switch
(see step 2 for the procedure).
b) Remove the two T-10 torx flat-head
screws and remove the relief valve.
