Connecting Your DM50 Series to an Analogue Phone
Line
Plug the telephone cord (supplied)
into the connector on the back of the
DM50 Series meter (see figure at
right).
Plug the other end into your telephone
wall socket. A two way adapter
(splitter) is supplied if you need
to share this socket with your fax
machine, etc.
Remember to use an analogue phone
line. The following are normally
analogue phone lines:
Fax lines.
Lines used by modems or credit card readers.
Residential phone lines.
Checking Funds (Postage) Available in your DM50
Series
1. Press Funds. The amount left (Unused) in the DM50 Series
displays.
2. Press the Review ▲▼ keys for additional information on batch
values.
4. Press Clear/Back to return to the Home screen.
NOTE: You can print a report of the funds available. See "Funds
Report" in Section 8, Reports.
