Use a Phillips screw driver to remove the four screws attaching the backup battery to the cover

Installing a New Backup Battery

Note
The AIR-1520-BATT-6AH= backup battery is used only on access point model AIR-CAP1552E-x-K9.
Do not use this battery on model AIR-CAP1552H-x-K9.
To install a new backup battery into your access point, follow these steps:
Carefully orient your new backup battery as shown in
Step 1
Position the backup battery over the four screw holes in the radio cover.
Step 2
Use the four supplied screws to attach the backup battery to the radio cover and tighten to 5.5 to 6.5 in.
Step 3
lbs (0.62 to 0.73 Nm).
Position and bend the backup battery cable as shown in
Step 4
