Eliminating faults yourself

You can eliminate minor faults yourself using the following overview. If in doubt or if the fault/cause is not
stated below, please consult the authorised customer service.
Danger of electric shock!
Repair work on the machine may only be carried out by the authorized Customer Service.
Fault
Cause
Vacuum cleaner does
No mains power.
not start.
Suction power
Paper filter bag, flat pleated filter,
decreases.
nozzle, suction hose or suction tube
blocked. Filter status display lit red.
Paper filter bag or dirt container full.
No flat pleated filter or incorrectly
inserted.
Dust escapes when
Suction hose incorrectly connected.
vacuuming.
No flat pleated filter, incorrectly
inserted or defective.
When wet-vacuuming:
Float jammed.
water leaks out.
Float switch defective.

Remedy
Check fuse, cable, plug and socket
and, if required, have them replaced
by an electrician.
Check and, if required, clean.
Replace paper filter bag or empty dirt
container.
Insert flat pleated filter correctly.
Connect suction hose correctly.
Insert flat pleated filter correctly or
replace.
Remove and turn over motor housing.
Release the jammed float in the cage.
If the fault cannot be eliminated,
please consult customer service.
