3.6.3 Paper Jam Error Codes
Paper jam error codes indicate where (within the machine) a recording paper jam has occurred
using a 2-digit number.
Error Code
10
A paper jam has occurred within the
paper feed section of the Recording
paper tray (when an Optional record-
ing paper tray is installed: Upper-tray.)
A paper jam has occurred within the
20
paper feed section of the Optional re-
cording paper tray (Middle-tray: when
one Optional recording paper tray is
installed.)
A paper jam has occurred within the
30
paper feed section of the Optional re-
cording paper tray (Lower-tray.)
A paper jam has occurred within the
50
paper feed section of the Bypass tray.
A paper jam has occurred within the
80
Drum/Developer section of the paper
transport path.
A paper jam has occurred within the
90
paper exit section of the paper trans-
port path.

Remedy
Open the right-side access door and
clear any paper. Then, draw out the Re-
cording paper tray (Upper) and remove
any jammed recording paper.
If the same error code is displayed again,
refer to "4.5 Recording Paper Feed Er-
ror" on page 11-69.
Open the right-side access door and
clear any paper. Then, draw out the Re-
cording paper tray (Middle/Lower) and
remove any jammed recording paper.
If the same error code is displayed again,
refer to "4.5 Recording Paper Feed Er-

cording paper tray (Lower) and remove
any jammed recording paper.

Open the Top cover, remove the Devel-
oper assembly, and remove any jammed
recording paper.
If the same error code is displayed again,
