1.5.3 MODEM TEST (Factory Test)
This test is used to check the MODEM signal outputs at different transmission speeds and
different frequencies. By measuring the difference in signal strength at different frequencies, it is
possible to plot the phone line's bandpass.
This test is performed at the factory for inspection and not required in the field.
Use the [ ↑ ] or [ ↓ ] key to select "03. MODEM TEST", and then press the [ENTER] key.

(2) Select "1. LINE-1" to test the LINE-1 side, and "2. LINE-2" to test the LINE-2 side, then
press the [ENTER] key.

(3) Select the frequency by pressing the [START] key.
<Remarks>
(4) When you complete the test, press the [STOP] key to return to the standby mode screen.
(5) Depending on the result of the test, replace the Main PBA or the MODEM PBA, referring
to "Chapter 8 Removal/Replacement/Adjustment" on page 8-46 or 8-42.

2100Hz → G3(V34) → G3(V17) → G3(V29) → G3(V27) → 2400BPS →
300BPS → 1850Hz → 1650Hz → 1100Hz → 1300Hz → ANSam → CM
→ CI → Repeats
