You can use a camcorder as the source player and your
recorder as the recorder.
A
Make connections.
Connect the camcorder's AUDIO/VIDEO OUT
connectors to the recorder's L-1 IN/OUT connector via a
cable adapter.

Set the recorder's input mode.
Press AUX (NUMBER key "0") and/or PR on the remote
control to select "L-1". You can select the input mode

also by pressing
[PR], and then
[PR–] on the recorder. See step 2 in "Basic Recording"
(
pg. 16).

Set the edit mode.
See "PICTURE CONTROL" on page 27.
D
Start the camcorder.
Engage the Play mode of the camcorder.
E
Start the recorder.
Engage the Record mode of the recorder.
NOTES:
All necessary cables can be obtained from your dealer.
When you select "EDIT" to dub tapes in step 3, be sure to
select "AUTO" (or "NORM" when "B.E.S.T." is set to "OFF")
after you finish dubbing the tapes.
