Step 2: Run Cable
1. Run the cable from the Base Stations to the BSIA, using the following maximum cabling
distances:
o 2,000 feet for line power
o 3,300 feet for local power
2. Use Category 5 cable. Using a mix of Categories 2, 3, 4, and 5 is acceptable, but can affect the
total possible cable length. See
