WARNING!
Charge batteries with SANYO NC-MOHOlU charger ONLY.
Do not use batteries with their+ and
-
ends (terminals)
reversed.
Do not modify in any way.
Do not connect the+ and with ANY object (such as a
necklace or hairpin) as this causes electricity to flow from
the
battery.
Never expose to heat or
fire.
If any liquid from the battery comes in contact with clothes or
skin, wash with clean water immediately and consult a
doctor at once.
Stop charging once the specified charging time is reached.
Never allow batteries to come in contact with or be
immersed in water.
Do not connect more than 20 batteries together.
Stop using batteries immediately if you notice anything wrong
with them (such as leakage, color change or deformity).
Keep out of reach of infants. Children may use only under
strict supervision
.
Do not subject the battery to strong shocks.
Do not use charged and discharged batteries together.

Operating Temperature: Batteries are chemical
products.
Even
when used within the recommended temperature ranges, their
efficiency may
vary.
This is normal, and not a malfunction.
Batteries may become warm during charging. This is normal
and no cause for alarm.
Using the charger in the same circuit as a TV (television),
radio or similar device may cause some "noise" (electrical
interference) with these devices. If this happens, try using a
different receptacle
(outlet).
Avoid charging near a heat source (such as a heater or in
direct sunlight).

Recommended temperature ranges for use:
Between

and 50°C to use ("discharge") the batteries.
Between
o ·c
and 40°C to charge the batteries.
Between
-
20°C and 30°C to store the
batteries.
Using the batteries outside the above temperature may shorten
battery life and decrease efficiency.

LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty is valid only for SANYO products purchased new,
in Canada through an Authorized Sanyo Dealer.
This Warranty
applies
only to the original retail user, and does
not apply to products used for any industrial, professional or
commercial
purpose.
Subject to the obligations and exclusions
below, SANYO Canada Inc. warrants to the original retail user of
this SANYO product (the "Product"). that the Product will be free
from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from
the date the Product was first purchased at retail. SANYO
Canada Inc. will repair or replace (at its option) the Product and
any of its parts which fail to conform to this warranty.
OBLIGATIONS: You, the original retail purchaser are responsible
for any costs of transporting the product to and from SANYO
Canada Inc. In order to obtain warranty service, the Product
must be shipped to: SANYO Canada Inc.

The original dated bill of sale or sales slip for any Product,
excluding batteries, must be submitted to SANYO Canada Inc. at
the time warranty service is requested.

MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
Periodically
clean the +(positive) and
-
(negative) terminals of
the charger and batteries.
• Wipe the metal contacts (terminals) with a dry cloth
.
Dirt build-up may prevent batteries from being charged.
• The charger and batteries should be keep clean and free of dirt
and dust at all times.
If the plastic of the charger becomes dirty, use a damp cloth to
remove the dirt then dry with a dry cloth. Let it dry completely
before using. Use only a dry cloth for charger's metal terminals
and batteries.
Discharge: Batteries self-discharge (lose their charge) when not in
use. Be sure to charge them before use. Batteries that have not
been used for a while (about a month) will lose some of their charge.
This is not a malfunction. In this case, charge and then
discharge the batteries 2 or 3 times before using. This recharges
batteries properly when they haven't been used for a long
time.
Battery Life: Charging and then discharging is possible for
approx. 500 times, depending on their
use.

EXCLUSIONS: This warranty does not cover the repair or adjustment
of any product whose serial number has been altered, defaced, or
removed. This warranty does not apply to repairs or replacements
necessitated by any cause beyond the control of SANYO Canada
Inc. including, but not limited to, any malfunction,
defect,
or failure
caused by or resulting from unauthorized service or parts, improper
maintenance, operation contrary to furnished instructions and/or
warnings, shipping or transit accidents, modification or repair of
the
Product by the user, abuse, misuse, neglect,
accident, fire,
flood or
other acts of God, incorrect line
voltage,
or normal wear and tear.
The foregoing is in lieu of all other express warranties and SANYO
Canada Inc. does not assume or authorize any party to assume for it
any other obligation or liability. The duration of any warranties which
may be implied by law (including the warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose) is limited to the term of this
warranty. In no event shall SANYO Canada Inc. be liable for special
incidental or consequential damages arising from ownership or use
of this product, or for any delay in the performance of its obligations
under this warranty due to causes beyond its control. Some
provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential
damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to
you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights which vary from province to province.
