Service Inspection Guide
Perform a service inspection on the rack when any of the following conditions occur:
The rack is inspected under a maintenance agreement.
v
v Service is requested and service has not recently been performed.
v An alterations-and-attachments review is performed.
v Changes have been made to the equipment that might affect the safe operation of the equipment.
v External devices with an attached power cord are connected to the rack.
If the inspection indicates an unacceptable safety condition, the condition must be corrected before
representatives service the machine.
Note: The correction of any unsafe condition is the responsibility of the owner of the system.
Do the following checks:
1. If the rack is bolted down, do the following:
a. Ensure that the rack is firmly secured to the floor.
b. Ensure that the four plastic isolator bushings are under the four leveling feet (dc only).
