Learning about the remote control
The buttons used for operating the TV only are
described here. For a complete list of the remote
control's functions, see the remote control functional
key chart ( page 24).
Note: The error message "NOT AVAILABLE"
may appear if you press a key for a function
that is not available.

1 POWER turns the TV on and off. When the TV is
2 FREEZE freezes the picture. Press again to restore the
3 SLEEP accesses the sleep timer ( page 56).
4 PIC SIZE cycles through the picture sizes: Natural ,
5 Channel Numbers (0–9, –/100) directly tune channels.
6 INPUT selects the video input source ( page 35).
7 CH ST cycles through programmed channels when no
8 VOL + – adjusts the volume level.
9 FAV BROWSER accesses the Favorites List in the
10 RECALL displays TV status information ( page 58).
11 CH RTN returns to the last viewed channel or source
12 MUTE reduces or turns off the sound ( page 44).

15 Arrow buttons (STWX) When a menu is on-screen,
