Modem string settings in figure x.1 are only used, when the default modem string is not used.
If the default modem string should be used, activate parameter "Using the default modem
string" in register "Link" of Customer Information (see figure x.2). In this case the values in
figure x.1 are ignored.
Instead the following string is used: AT&CI&D2X0&Q0S7=255S9=0+MS=B103B17
After successfully connected, RPS can execute multiple operations, including reading/writing
AMAX panel parameters, remote arming/disarming, viewing log, and so on. After the telephone
is successfully connected, RPS will disconnect it with the AMAX panel after 5 minutes of
idling.

IP Connection

IP Remote Connection
The IP remote connection function allows to establish a connection from the remote PC to the
AMAX panel through LAN or WAN. The remote monitoring center should be installed remote
programming software like A-Link Plus and perform related IP address, programming in order
to apply this function in LAN (support DHCP) and WAN.
The IP remote connection is divided into automatic connection and manual connection with
callback confirmation.

Set receiver 1 SUBSCRIBER NUMBER (addresses 0017 - 0022), network remote settings
programming option (addresses 0162 - 0179), i.e., enter IP address, port number of RPS,
and DHCP update time on the AMAX panel.
Run RPS on the remote PC and set relevant parameters in relevant operating interfaces.
