Interconnection
• Three outlet trunk-line cable connectors for connection of
contribution, distribution, and interpretation units, plus exten-
sion power supplies. Each socket is protected against short-
circuit (3 x 6-pole circular connectors)

Extension Power Supply Unit
• Powers up to 180 additional contribution units
(with PCF of 1)

• Easy connection to DCN
*Note: Type numbers with a 'D' are intended for the
North American market. They are CSA/UL approved,
and have a modified mains supply and supply cord.
The Extension Power Supply unit is used in combina-
tion with a CCU to supply power to a maximum of
180 additional units. (This figure represents the num-
ber of units rated with a Power Consumption Factor
(PCF) of 1. For further information on the PCF, please
refer to chapter 9, Technical Data). The unit can be
installed at any convenient point in the system cabling
due to its built-in trunk-line splitter. It is connected
