Taking Pictures

Taking pictures with your phone's built-in camera is as simple as choosing a
subject, pointing the lens, and pressing a button. You can activate camera mode
and take pictures whether the phone is open or closed.
To take a picture with the phone open:
1. Press
for Menu.

for Pictures.

Tip: To activate camera mode, you can also press and hold the the side camera
button
(see "Open View of Phone" on page 2).
4. Using the phone's main LCD as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at
your subject.
5. Press either the left softkey
button (

6. After the picture is taken, press the right softkey
7. The picture is saved in your My Pictures folder. Choose one of the
following options:
(1) Send Msg: to send your picture to someone using Picture Mail.
For more information, see "Picture Mail" on page 48.
(2) Upload: to upload the picture to your online folder, see "Creating
an Online Album" on page 70.
(3) Assign: to assign the picture to Picture ID, Wallpaper, or
Incoming Call, see "Display" on page 77.
(4) Erase: to erase this picture.
(5) Camera Mode: to take another picture.
(6) Review Pictures: to review the images stored in your camera.
8. To exit camera mode, press
