    Replacing the Filters 1. Replacing the secondary filter Turn off the canister and remove the hose. Open the dust cover. Remove the filter from behind the bag. (See fig. 3) Either shake the dust out of the filter or wash it by hand. (Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling.) Reinsert the filter and close the dust cover.
