C Creating an IMG file from an ISO in Windows

Complete the following procedure to create an IMG file from the ISO image of the current HP
StoreAll OS Software version. The IMG file is necessary to create a bootable USB flash drive for
software installation on a Windows system.
To create an IMG file:
1.
Format an 8 GB USB flash drive for your operating system.
2.
Download a tool for creating a virtual DVD drive. The steps in this section assume you have
downloaded Virtual CloneDrive v5.4.5.0.

3.
Download a tool for saving the boot image to your USB flash drive. The steps in this section
assume you have downloaded ImgBurn version 2.5.7.0.

4.
Download the HP StoreAll Quick Restore (QR) ISO to the Windows computer.
5.
Mount the HP StoreAll Quick Restore (QR) ISO using a tool for creating a virtual DVD drive,
such as Virtual CloneDrive.
If you are using Virtual CloneDrive version 5.4.5.0, right-click the HP StoreAll QR ISO image,
and then click Mount (Virtual CloneDrive) to mount the HP StoreAll QR ISO image, as shown
in the following figure.
