The inspection

Check the fuel pump.
. Apply battery voltage to the check-
ing terminal and operate the pump.
Check the ground circuit of the fuel

Check for continuity between the fuel
pump and the checking terminal.
Check for continuity between the
checking terminal and the engine
control module, and between the

Hold the return hose
between two fingers
so as to feel the
pulsation of the flow-
ing of fuel.
Listen to the pump
sound at a place near
the fuel tank.
