INTAKE AIR PRESSURE SENSOR

1. Measure:
• Intake air pressure sensor output volt-
age
Out of specification → Replace.
Test harness (3 pins):

Vacuum/pressure pump gauge
set:

Pink/green (P/G) –
Black/orange (B/O)

Measurement steps:
• Remove the intake air pressure sensor.
• Connect the test harness (3 pins) to the
intake air pressure sensor.
• Operate the Yamaha Diagnostic System.
• Apply vacuum pressure to the intake air
pressure sensor and measure the output
voltage.
NOTE:
When operating the Yamaha Diagnostic Sys-
tem, electric power is supplied to the intake air
pressure sensor.
