If you selected a Supplemental User-Programmable option from
4-8, select User-Programmable Supplemental 1 to set the 3-digit prefix. Then select the 3 digits using the

Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN Supplementals
without supplementals are decoded before transmission. The range is from 2 to 30 times. Five or above is
recommended when decoding a mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without supplementals, and the
autodiscriminate option is selected.
