! Insert battery (2) into the battery
container
Note:
When using batteries with a liquid
electrolyte coat the battery terminals
adequately with terminal grease to
protect them from corrosion!
! Screw positive post wire to
battery (2)
KM 85/50 W Comfort / KM 85/50 W Classic / KM 85/50 W P Comfort / KM 85/50 W P Classic
! Screw negative post wire of
battery (2) to positive post of
battery (1)
! Screw negative post wire to
battery (1)

Charge the battery

! Switch the machine off

! Always heed safety precautions
for handling batteries!
! Strictly comply with the operating
instructions of the battery
charger's manufacturer
! Lift off cap of battery's charging
socket
! Connect charger's charging plug
! Plug in power plug and, if
necessary, switch on battery
charger

! Remove the master switch key
! Insert key in lock of unit cover
! Turn key by 180°
! Open unit cover

! Safeguard the unit cover from
shutting with the cover support
during work on the unit
! Plug in power plug of the
integrated battery charger into
the plug-socket
