Figure 36 - Dynamic control curve applies to all regions in a
single layer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the outlines in the graphical editor will always represent the area
that can be see in the map editor. This means that they will be zoomed in or out
according to what you have selected in the main screen. In the dynamic control
behaviour graph, there is a light gray colored tic mark on the horizontal
axis which represents your zero mark. ie. if you're going with a stage right - stage left
dynamic curve, this mark is the editor's stage centre between stage left and right.
Under the graph you will see a radio button for position (the default) and velocity. If
you click on velocity, your curve and numeric fields will apply to how fast the
performer is moving rather than to his or her position. The curve will refer to how fast
he or she is moving in the stage right - stage left dimension. For example you may want
to increase the light intensity when the performer is moving quickly and automatically
dim it when he or she slows down.
