If a Fuse Blows
Circuit Fuse Access:
7. For access to the circuit fuses, remove
the right side cover (page
8. Remove the fuse box cover ( ) from
the fuse box ( ). 7
9. To check or replace a circuit fuse, slide
the old fuse out of its clips ( ). Look
for a burned wire inside the fuse. If the
fuse is blown ( ), replace it with a 9
spare fuse ( ) of the same rating. 10
If you do not have a replacement fuse with
the proper rating for the circuit, install one
with a lower rating.
Replacing a f use with one that has a
higher rating greatly increases the chance
of damage to the electrical system.
