HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY
Kenwocxt U.SA Corporation ("Kenwood") warrants this
product for a period of one (1) year from the date of original
purchase.
WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS
NOT COVERED
Except as Sjletilied be ow, this warranty covers all detects in
mater~! and workmanship in Kenwood car stereo components.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
1. Any product which is not distributed in the U .SA by
Kenwood or which is not purchased in the U.S.A. from an
authorized Keowood car stereo dealer or an automobile
d<aler, unless the product is purchased through the U.S.A
Military Exchange Service.
2. Any product on which the serial number has been detaced.
modified or removed.
3. Damage, d<terioration or malfunction resulting from:
a.
Any
shipment of the product (claims must be presented
to the carrier).
b. Installation or removal of the product.
c. Accident, acts of nature, misuse, abuse, neglect,
unautllorilll<l product modification or failure to follow
instructions suppl~d with the product.
d. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized
by Kenwood.
e. Any other cause which does not relate to a product
defect

This warranty is enforceable only by the original purchaser.
WHAT WE WILL PAY FOR
We will pay for all labor and material expenses for covered
items. Payment of shiwing cllarges is discussed in the next
section of this warranty.

SERVICE
If your KENWOOD product ever needs serv~e:
1. Take or ship it to

KENWOOD Authorized Service Center
in the U.S.A. aloog with

problem. (if you are uncertain as to whether a Service Center

2. Although you mustpayanyshipping charges if it is necessal)'
to ship the product lorwarrantyservice, we will pay the return
shipping charges if the repairs are covered by the warranty
within the United States.
3. Whenever your units are taken or sent for warranty service,
you must include a copy of the original date d sales receipt
as proof of warranty coverage.

WARRANTIES
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FIT NESS FOR A PARTICULAR

orrginal customer of each new Kenwooc product distributed in
Canada by KENWOOD and purchased from a dealer a uthorized
by K E NWOOD.
KENWOOD warrants that each

Kenwood product, under
normal use, is free from
any
defects, subject to th e terms and
conditions set forth below. If a defect should occur within the
w arranty period, repairs will be made free of charge for parts
and labour w he n such d<fects are d<termined by KENWOOD
or its' authorized service centres to be attributable to faulty
m aterials or workm anship at time ol manufacture. P lease
contact KENWOOD to confirm it a dealer or service centre is
authorized by KENWOOD.
WARRANTY PERIOD
This Kenw ood product is warranted for parts and labo ur for a
period of one (1) year from the date of origin al purchase, lease
or rental, except for products which are used in a pro fessional
or commercial application. which are warrante d for a period
of ninety (90) days lor parts and labour a nd are su bject to the
terms and conditions of the warranty.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warran ty excludes:
(a) Prod ucts purch ased in a foreign country or p urchased in
Cana da and ta!en to a foreign COUJllry.
(b) Products purchased from a dealer not au thorized by
KENWOOD.
(c) Products with the serial number defaced, altered or

(h) Damage or deterioration occurring to any exterior finis hes,
cosmetic parts, tape heads, adaptors, a ntennas, cab les,
tapes, discs or faults or damage caused by defective or
leaking batteries.
(i) Delecls or damageoccurri ng during shipping (claims should

presented to the shipping company).

(k) Product rnstallation or removal charges.
