Basic Troubleshooting
Basic troubleshooting recommendations for the AP 7161 access point are listed in the following table:
Indication
LEDs are not lit
No Ethernet connectivity to the unit
No wireless connectivity to the unit
Response
No power to device:
• Verify 802.3at compatible source is connected via PoE
• Verify AC source to PoE injector
• Unit was configured with LEDs disabled
Verify that Ethernet data cable is properly connected to PoE injector
Verify that antennas are installed correctly
