3. Release the ribbon by unlocking the ribbon connec-
tor by lifting connector about 1/4 of an inch away
from the board.
Connect in the locked position.
Connect in the unlocked position.
4. Remove the 4 screws holding the board to the
console, the 2 screws holdin the diaplay to the
console and lift the board and display off.

Removing the console:

1. Disconnect the dryer from electrical supply, and
remove the front panel .
2. Disconnect the wires from the door switch and
unplug the harness for the sensor bars.
3. If the dryer is equipped with a drum light, disconnect
the two wires from the drum light.
4. Disconnect the ribbon from the control board.
5. Remove the 2 screws, one in each corner, holding
the console to the front panel and lift the console up.
