9-2.No making ice

Inspection procedure:
1.
Check if temperature in freezer room get up to setting temperature

2. Check if ice maker is under shutoff state
3. Keep pressing both "F" and "K" 3 seconds then you will hear voice of buzzer, which prove products
enter inspection mode. Open freezer doors and press turn the freezer light on, check if ice maker can
overturn automatically.
4.If can not overturn automatically, check if terminator of ice maker have rust or corrosion or other
problems, if so clean the terminator and install it again then enter inspection mode again to test if ice
maker can overturn automatically.
5. If still can not overturn automatically, test wires using multimeter between terminator CN6 of main
control board and connection terminator of ice maker, if connection is good, it is ice maker or main control
board's problems normally. We can test by replacing a new part or test with ice maker testing tool.
6. If ice maker can overturn automatically, we can test water valve of ice maker to check if it is working
well. Testing by connecting water valve with AC 220V directly to check if it can open normally, the water
valve is good if can open or it is bad.
7. If water valve is working well and ice maker inlet water under inspection mode, so we can test sensor of
ice maker
9-3. Ice glomeration
1. Check if the icemaker stays in horizontal plane, otherwise, the water will flow out of the ice box;
2. Open the door of the freeze cabinet, adhere a tape to the light switch. Hold down the left button for
adjusting freeze temperature and the right button for adjusting fresh food temperature at the same
time for 3 seconds to enter into icemaker test mode. The icemaker will turn upside-down automatically,
when it restores to normal position and water will flow into the icebox, and then check if the water is so
full that it overflows.
3. Check if the ice box is seriously deformed or cracked so that water flows out.
Solution:
1. If the icemaker does not stay in horizontal plane, take it off and re-install it correctly;
2. If too much water flows into the ice box, hold down the left/right buttons for adjusting freeze
temperature and left/right buttons for adjusting the chill temperature at the same time for 3 seconds ,
then push the button for adjusting freeze temperature to adjust the water inletting time;
3. If the ice box is deformed or cracked, please replace with a proper ice box.
