One 2-RF Interface Unit with a 4-Station Line (KX-TD144) can be
installed to any of the two expansion areas on the main unit KX-
TD816. Up to two Cell Stations (KX-TD142) can be connected to
the KX-TD144.

Remove the front cover
plate(s).
System Programming is required for location identification. Refer to
program [109], "Expansion Card/Unit Type," in Section 4.
Default : Area 1 = 4-CO Line Unit
Area 2 = 8-Station Line Unit
Select "E" for the 2-RF Interface Unit with a 4-Station Line (KX-
TD144). This is the same for an 8-Station Line Unit (KX-TD170).
