Optional. Two bags of loose coals are included with
the appliance. If desired, the coals can be distributed
on the bottom of the fi rebox on each side of the log set
and in front of the cast grate.
The fuel bed elements include the cast iron platform, the ceramic rock base, rocks and twigs. Unpack them very
carefully to avoid damage.
1. Place the cast platform in the fi rebox locating it's
rear feet in the holes on the bottom of the fi rebox as
indicated.
2. Place the ceramic rock base inside the cast
platform. Make sure that it sits against the tabs
behind the burner as indicated.
