NOTES:
•
The Controller may not work with all types of DBS receiver.
•
If your DBS receiver does not respond to the code, you cannot
use the Controller to change satellite channels. In this case,
make sure to leave the DBS receiver turned on and tuned to
the proper channel before the scheduled start time of timer
recording. In addition, if your DBS receiver is equipped with a
timer, you can also use 'Satellite Auto Recording' (
47).
•
The VCR can only change the satellite channel through the
Controller during timer recording.
•
If your DBS receiver cannot be operated with a Remote
(because it has no remote sensor), you cannot use the
Controller to change its channels. Make sure to leave the DBS
receiver turned on and tuned to the proper channel before the
scheduled start time of timer recording.
•

Enter DBS Receiver's brand
Press [FG] to move
FUNCTION SET UP
the arrow to
"BRAND".
Press [D E] to enter
the brand code from
the following list.
BRAND
Engage test mode
Press [FG] to move the arrow to "TEST MODE",
then press [OK].
The program currently received through the DBS
receiver appears for about 10 seconds.
NOTE:
If you do not engage the test mode in step F, "INPUT
CH" and "BRAND" are not set.
•
If the DBS receiver's channel changes to 205,
setting is complete
Press [D E] to
FUNCTION SET UP
move the arrow to
"YES", then press
[OK] and "DBS
RECEIVER
CONTROL IS ON"
appears on the
screen for about 5
seconds
•
If the DBS receiver's channel does not change
as shown above
A Press [D E] to move the arrow to "NO".
B Press [OK].
C Re-enter the correct code.
Return to normal screen
Press [MENU].
