13. LANGUAGE SETUP menu
The LANGUAGE SETUP menu allows you to specify the language for the control panel and the
resident pages.
The available languages in the LANGUAGE SETUP menu are as follows. (Default value is in
the square brackets.)
ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN, ITALIAN, SPANISH, DUTCH, DANISH, PORTUGUESE, FINNISH,
NORWEGIAN [ENGLISH]

Remarks
Specify the interval, in seconds, at which
the printer communicates with the Novell
server.
Note: If you select a short interval, the
amount of network traffic increas-
es: this may slow down other net-
work jobs.
Use this submenu to enable network
communication using SMB.
Select "YES" to display "USE NAME
SERVER".
Select "NO" to display "NETWORK SERV-
ER SETUP".
Use this submenu to designate a specific
WINS server as an SMB server.
Select "YES" to display "NAME SERVER
IP".
Select "NO" to display "SERVER NAME".
Use the up and down arrow keys to
enter the IP address of the WINS server
you wish to use.
Use the up and down arrow keys to
enter a name for the printer (SMB serv-
er).
Use the up and down arrow keys to
enter a comment about the printer (SMB
server). For example, "Production use
only."
Use the up and down arrow keys to
enter the domain name of the printer
(SMB server.)
