C. Rotary Drive Unit
1) Remove the fan shield plate 1 according
to the 90-fan removal procedure 1) and
2) on page 3-54.
2) Disconnect the connectors (J203, 6
pins, J205, 6 pins) from the developing
PCB.
3) Remove the cable (for primary high-volt-
age) from the cable guide in the rotary
drive unit.
4) Unhook the 2 claws and remove the
cable guide 2.
5) Disconnect the connector, and remove
the 5 screws and then the rotary drive
unit.

Note: Disassembly of the rotary drive unit
makes the drive gears out of posi-
tion. As the position of the gears
cannot be adjusted in the field, do
NOT disassemble the unit.

D. Multi-purpose Pick-up Unit
1) Remove the ITB unit drawer unit
according to the ITB unit drawer unit
removal procedure on page 3-18.
2) Remove the lower front cover.
3) Remove the screw and then the lock
lever (left).
4) Remove the screw and then the gear
cover.
