Description
The barcode has not been read correctly.
The barcode has not been read because there is something
wrong with the Ink Mark Sensor.
The roll paper is close to running out.
The paper installed is not supported for borderless printing.
The size of the cut sheet paper is not recognized correctly.
The paper is not set correctly.
The paper width cannot be detected correctly because there
is something wrong with the PW Sensor.
The roll paper is not ejected correctly.
The loaded paper size does not match the data size.
The paper is jammed.
The PE Sensor is malfunctioning due to some foreign
material.
The Front Cover is open.
The Front Cover (Middle) or the Front Cover Sensor (L/R)
is/are broken.
Remedies for Error Messages
Remedy/Points to be checked
Press the button to clear the error, or press the
release the paper presser to set a different paper.
Check if there is any foreign material such as paper dust stuck on the
sensor.
Check the connection between the Ink Mark Sensor and the Main Board
Assy.
Replace the Ink Mark Sensor. (See P.230)
Replace the roll paper with a new one.
Press the button to cancel jobs, and then eject the paper. Then
load a different size of paper.
If the paper is wavy or slack, the printer cannot recognize the paper size
correctly. In this case, flatten the paper before loading it in the printer.
Set the paper correctly in the printer.
Check if there is any foreign material such as paper dust stuck on the
sensor.
Check the connection between the PW Sensor and the Main Board
Assy.
Replace the PW Sensor. (See P.190)
Press the button to release the paper presser, and then remove the
paper.
Match the loaded paper size to the data size.
Remove the jammed paper.
Remove the foreign material.
Close the Front Cover.
Check the installation status of the Front Cover (Middle).
Confirm that the actuator of the Front Cover (Middle) presses the Front
Cover Sensor (L/R).
Check the connection between the Front Cover Sensor (L/R) and the
Main Board Assy.
Replace the Front Cover Sensor (L/R) with new ones.
